International Order Information
Van Sant Enterprises welcomes international orders. To determine shipping costs, simply submit desired items through our shopping cart and include your desired payment method during the checkout process. Once we have received your list of products, we will follow up via email with the best shipping option(s) for your approval. Important note: Orders will not be processed without customer approval of the shipping total.

Small Package Shipping Options
UPS is our preferred shipping company because of their real time tracking, short time-in-transit, and included brokerage fees on shipments outside of North America. In some cases we will quote US Postal Service (USPS) when rates are significantly less, however these cannot be reliably tracked online and may take longer to reach their destination. The process to file a claim for a misplaced parcel is also slower and more cumbersome with USPS than with UPS.
- Average UPS Shipment: 3-5 business days
- Average US Postal Shipment: 5-10 business days
If an order is refused or returned to us for any reason, such as inaccurate or incorrect address information or because it was declined or undeliverable, Van Sant Enterprises, Inc. reserves the right to retain the original shipping fee and to charge the payment method originally used for costs we incur related to the return of the undeliverable goods to us.
Large Package Shipping Options
Items too large to be handled by UPS or USPS can be shipped via LTL truck freight to a USA based freight forwarder of your choice. We do not currently arrange door to door transportation for heavy packages. Although we can assist the freight broker with required international paperwork, it is the responsibility of the customer and freight broker to complete all required export documents.
Additional Expenses and Responsibilities
It is the customers responsibility to check if it is lawful to import the product of choice into the destination country. The recipient is always the Importer of Record. International orders are generally subject to local import duties, taxes (VAT), and brokerage (Customs clearance) fees. UPS Expedited and Express shipments include brokerage charges. All UPS Standard (Canada specific service) and US Postal Service shipment do not include brokerage services. For all shipping methods the customer is responsible for any duties, taxes, or brokerage establish by local agencies. These fees are the responsibility of the customer, and will not be collected by Van Sant Enterprises, Inc. Most often these fees are due before the product can be delivered.

Note to non-commercial Canadian customers: Van Sant Enterprises has special brokerage rates in place with UPS to lower overall shipping costs to non-commercial addresses. Orders valued under $200 CAD shipped UPS Standard will qualify for a reduced $10 flat rate brokerage fee payable to UPS along with the tax and duty. Orders of greater value also benefit from a waived Disbursement fee. |
Limitations
Products shipped internationally may void the manufacturer's warranty. Product manuals, safety labels, instructions etc. may not be supplied in the language of the destination country. Electrical compatibility is not guaranteed with international orders. We currently ship to the following countries:

Returns
If you choose to return a product to us, it must first meet our standard returns policy as outlined here. You will be the exporter from the destination country. Title and risk of loss transfer to us upon our receipt of the merchandise. We will refuse shipments that hold us responsible for any of the additional expenses outlined above. UPS can be contacted directly to assist in recovering your original taxes and duties for a fee.
Payment
Our standard payment methods can be used with international orders but we encourage the use of wire transfers and Paypal. Credit card orders are subject to verification procedures to protect both Van Sant Enterprises, Inc. and the cardholder from fraudulent use. This may delay shipments a few days. We reserve the right to refuse international orders when the address or card information is not verifiable. Wire transfers can be made by selecting that as your payment type in the shopping cart, and upon acceptance of the shipping quote, we will forward our bank information.
