The following is some useful information regarding hydraulic pump configurations offered by Van Sant Ent. for use with several of our machines, including the Model 3, Model 4, MB 900, MB 2500 benders, the MB Tube/Pipe Notcher, the MB Hydraulic Bench Presses, and the MB Louver Press.

10,000 Psi Air/Hydraulic Pump
This SPX Power Team pump utilizes your shop air supply for power and is activated by a foot control. Backed by a 1 year replacement warranty and a manufacturers lifetime warranty. Includes 6' hose with quick disconnect coupler. 10' and 20' hose lengths also available.

Approximate Air Consumption: 12-20 cfm Required Air Pressure: 40-120 psi
1:100 Air PSI to Hydraulic PSI Ratio (i.e. 40 psi of air produces 4000 lbs of Hydraulic pressure)
Approximate time to full stroke with our 10 ton 14" stroke cylinder- 45 seconds

This electric pump uses a two button hand remote plugs into your 110V power. Backed by a 1 year warranty. Includes 6' hose and quick disconnect coupler.

Ships without hydraulic fluid. Van Sant Enterprises recommends an ISO46 or similar non-detergent hydraulic fluid.
Approximate time to full extension of our 10 ton 14" stroke cylinder- 15 seconds

Electric/Hyd Pump w/ Hose..............................................$1,160.00

Speed: As you can see from the above data, the Electric/Hydraulic pumps will operate approximately 3 times quicker than an Air/Hydraulic pump configuration.

Oil Recommendation: Van Sant Enterprises recommends an ISO46 or similar Non-detergent Hydraulic Fluid. (Air/Pumps ship with fluid)
