Extremely
versatile grinder attachment. Use it for everything from sharpening
mower blades to grinding knife blades and sanding. Only wish
I had a variable speed grinder.

I had previously
tried to use a belt/disc sander made for woodworking, it would
stall with the least amount of pressure when grinding metal.
The Multitool with the Jet 1 HP grinder is just about impossible
to stall or even slow down even when doing heavy grinding on
metal parts. I am totally impressed with this tool and it is
becoming one of my most favorite tools in my shop.

I use the
Multitool day in and day out repairing 4130 chromoly sprint
car chassis. For years I had a 6in X 48in floor belt sander.
I was constantly shredding belts. The Multitool is two years
old and I have yet to shred a belt. They just wear out but do
not shred. I have been using the belts I purchased from Van
Sant. I use the grinder in the horizontal position. This gives
me a top flat surface, the rounded end wheel and the flex of
the belt on the underside. Works great in my shop. The old belt sander
is in the corner collecting dust from the Multitool.

This is a great product. I was a little skeptical about its belt size, but one I used it for the first time, I wish I had bought one 10 years ago. Alan@vansant is a great guy to do business with and I will highly recommend him to anybody interested in tools.

I use it every time I'm in the shop. Great for cleaning up tubing
after coping, shaping brackets etc. I just love it!"
