Trick-Tools ships LTL (Less-than-Truckload) daily using a handful of carriers that are historically reliable and careful with our freight. Many of our larger machines require this type of delivery because they are either too large or too heavy for a standard package truck. Customers must have either a dock or forklift to unload the truck upon arrival. The driver is not required to assist the unloading of the item(s). Deliveries to a commercial address are less expensive than to a residential area. Residential businesses do not qualify as a business address. Redelivery fees apply if the delivery location is not accessible or no one is available to unload.

There are a couple of accessorial options available for truck freight deliveries. Liftgate delivery is the most common. During the checkout process, you may select a Liftgate so that the driver is responsible for lowering the shipment to ground level. The customer is still responsible for moving the shipment from that point forward. Pick-up at the carrier's terminal is also an option, excellent for when the final destination does not have a dock or forklift or not accessible to a large semi. Note regarding damages: Most truck freight deliveries arrive in the condition they leave our dock. All truck freight deliveries must be inspected and signed for. If any damages or missing items are found later but not noted on the delivery ticket, it is unlikely that we can recoup any costs: it is the customer's responsibility to inspect properly at the time of delivery. If the driver will not wait for you to inspect the shipment, simply mark the shipment as "damaged" before signing. In the rare occurance of small damages such as paint scuffs, dings, dents, etc. they should be noted and package received (We do encourage refusal of delivery if the package is badly damaged such as laying on its side or severly broken, but in most cases small repairs are the responsibility of the customer). After noting the delivery ticket, immediately call us about the damage so we can assist you.


Items marked with this Free Shipping logo are shipped Prepaid to a Commercial address with dock or forklift. Any other delivery types such as residential, terminal pickup, liftgate services etc. will add additional costs and must be paid at the time of order.
