If you've owned a plasma, laser, or waterjet table for very long, you know the time it takes for post-process cleanup. Apex Machinery Group has options to help with slag removal, radius edging, or surface finishing. The 1025M with Small Parts Package can process parts as small as 2x3 inches to remove slag/dross, grind vertical burrs, and create straight grain finishing in just seconds, saving your business hundreds of man hours.

Choose from one of the following options on the 1025M dual head machines:

1025M-DBc - Grinding belt and Scotch-Brite barrel brush. This will leave a very nice, consistent straight grain finish on your part.
1025M-DSc - Grinding belt and strip abrasive disc station. This will radius the edges of your part making them ready for paint or powder coat but will leave a swirl finish on the part.
1025M-DB/Sc - Grinding belt and interchangeable barrel brush or disc station. This gives you the option for either finish or radius the edges and then do a final pass with the barrel brush for a straight grain finish.

The 1025M features a quick change 25 x 60 inch belt with pneumatic belt tensioning, and electronic belt tracking. The variable speed conveyor belt includes a motorized lift to accommodate up to a 5 inch bed opening, along with a digital readout for precision adjustments. Equipped with a 15hp drive motor and available in 220v 3ph or 440v 3ph this machine has plenty of power for even the toughest jobs.
