DESCRIPTION

Huth's Model 1673 Portable Swager/Expander equips you to form ball joints, slip joints, flares, and flanges, and performs doming and reducing anywhere in your shop. This tubing expander and reducer has 25,000 lbs of power provided by a 5 hp electric/hydraulic pump. It is also equipped with the Huth Accu-Sizer system, an automatic preset expanding system that allows for precise expansion every time.

This deluxe package includes the necessary arbors and 5 segmented expander tools to cover 1-3/8 to 3-1/2 inch exhaust tubing. Expanding and beading capacity ranges from 1 inch to 5-1/2 inch (additional tooling required), and tube swaging, reducing, and flaring capacity up to 3-inch OD. Mounted on its own easy-wheeling cart with heavy-duty casters and a 15-foot power cord, this machine is great for end forming mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel, black pipe, and tubing.
