The Hougen Holcutter Speed Reducer kit slows cut speeds down while maintaining torque with its 4:1 gear ratio. The lower speed is ideal when cutting stainless steel or larger diameter sheet metal Holcutters in mild steel. This speed reducer can be mounted onto a 1/2 inch drill in place of the chuck, or any 1/2 inch chuck with the optional shank adapter. The Holcutters mount onto the speed reducer with no additional arbor so runout is kept to a minimum.
