The Fein ASCM 18-4 QMP AS High Torque 4-Speed Cordless Hammer Drill/Driver is the world's first cordless drilling system built for metalworking. The powerful 18-volt brushless motor is fully encapsulated to protect it from dust and dirt, and provides up to 1,150 in/lbs of torque. The unique 4-speed solid-metal gearbox delivers optimal speed and torque for everything from drilling with annular cutters to driving self-drilling screws to tapping holes. Electronic kickback monitoring will save your wrists if the workpiece grabs unexpectedly, while the 15 torque settings ensure the proper amount of tightening. The selectable hammer function allows for drilling in stone and masonry up to 1/2 inch diameter. Bosch Ampshare COOLPACK 2.0 technology extends battery service life by 135%, enabling longer operation time.

The easily detachable 1/2 inch Quick-In Chuck can be removed to expose a drill driver bit holder or exchanged with an optional right-angle attachment, tapping collet holder, annular cutter quick-release chuck, extended 1/4 inch bit driver head, or 1/2 inch drive socket adapter (see Accessories tab).
