DESCRIPTION

The Baileigh MH-37HD Multi-Hammer takes metal shaping to new heights. Using technology developed in the popular MH-19 model and then increasing the size and capacity, the MH-37HD performs the functions of a rigid Pullmax machine and a slapping Yoder power hammer.

The MH-37HD power hammer features a 220v, 3-phase motor with an inverter drive that can be adjusted from 0-1500 beats per minute. Speed can be constantly adjusted with the variable foot pedal or locked to a specific speed using the control panel. The machine also features quick-release adjustment handles and a quick change tooling system.

When operating in rigid mode there is a fixed distance between the dies and the stroke can be adjusted on the fly from .1 to .750 inches. Tooling designs and options are endless, but some popular applications are thumbnail shrinking, stretching, flanging, beading, offsetting, and louvers. The spring mode allows the dies to slap together giving a hammering effect. This mode would be used for doming and planishing.
