This mechanical pencil is one of the nicest layout tools we've seen! Featuring a metal needle nose point to mark in hard to reach areas and a wide variety of optional refill colors and types, this tool is sure to become a favorite among fabricators.

The tool operates much the same as a conventional mechanical pencil, but is built is for heavy duty shop use. The designers at Markal have even included a sharpener under the cap.

The Markal Pro comes standard with graphite lead, which is great for marking on bright surfaces, such as aluminum or steel sheet. Additional refills are available under the Accessories tab. Silver Streak is another one of our favorites, as it is great for marking on surfaces with mill scale.
