DESCRIPTION

This angle iron shear from Roper Whitney is designed to cut up to 2 x 2 x 1/4 inch angle iron. Great for the job site or using in the shop when a saw isn't available. This shear would be especially useful in job shops or farm shops where angle iron might be used for building gates, pedestals, etc.

Since this shear accomplishes its maximum capacity through a shearing action, one leg of the angle iron is distorted during the shearing process. To avoid this distortion, we offer the shear in two different configurations. The standard configuration is equipped to shear up to 1/4 thick angle, but will distort lighter material. A special blade configuration is also offered for cutting 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/8 inch up to 2 x 2 x 3/16 with very minimal distortion.
