DESCRIPTION

Tennsmith's SR48P slip roll combines the same features found on their popular SR48 slip roll with the productive advantage of an electric powered drive. Precision-turned, ground, and polished high carbon steel rolls with heavy-duty, cast iron end frames and a welded steel base to make an accurate and durable forming tool.

Convenient operating features include large roll adjusting screws, scales for speeding repeat set-up, and a front mounted handle to lift the upper roll for material removal.

The SR48 also has 3 gear-driven rolls that ensure even starting and feeding of capacity materials. The SR48 also features constant drive of the rolls. All three rolls continue to drive throughout their adjustment range. Wire grooves are also standard.

Special Note: The rear roll of this machine features 3 machined grooves down the length of the roll to provide better grip when rolling full capacity of this machine. For light gauge material, this machine can be special ordered with all smooth rolls to minimize distortion. Please contact us with any questions.
