Unlike a traditional sheet metal brake that folds material over a sharp nose bar, the MetalAce Radius Brake forms the panel around interchangeable radius rolls. Its unique apron design swings outside the radius and rolls the material around the selected former, helping minimize stretching, stress, distortion, and cracking during the bending process. This is especially valuable when forming aluminum panels and other materials where maintaining a smooth, consistent bend is critical.

The RB7216 includes five interchangeable radius rolls, giving you the flexibility to create bends ranging from a tight 1/2 inch radius all the way up to a broad 2 inch radius. Tooling changes are quick and straightforward, allowing fabricators to move between different bend radii without complicated setup. Convenient onboard roll storage keeps the tooling organized and close at hand when it is not being used.
