DESCRIPTION

Siegmund System 16 tables utilize the engineering and accuracy of System 28 tables in a lighter duty version. The new Imperial tables feature an engraved inch scale and a 2-inch grid pattern to accelerate setup and eliminate the need to convert prints. These German constructed tables are built from hardened steel to begin with and then go through an additional plasma nitride process to harden the top work surface to a Vickers rating of more than 750.

The tables feature five fixturing surfaces constructed from 1/2 inch thick plate with additional reinforcement underneath the work surface. Fixture mounting holes are CNC machined to 16mm diameter, feature radiused edges, and are laid out in a square 2-inch grid. These tables feature a flatness rating of +/- .0025 inches per foot.
