Small enough to drill in places where even handheld electric drills can’t go, the HMD2X2 by Hougen has the power to cut holes up to 2-inch diameter through materials up to 2 inches thick. The powerful Hougen motor and high-torque gearing allow for a broad range of applications, including truck frame modification, plant maintenance, and on-site assembly and installation projects.

For safety, Hougen provides exclusive features to ensure a safe work environment. A no-adjustment safety switch shuts down the drill motor if the magnetic base is lifted, accompanied by an LED indicator that alerts if the switch is not engaged. A two-stage power-on switch prevents drill rotation unless the magnet has first been engaged, in the event of a power interruption.
