Forward and reverse operation significantly expands what you can accomplish with the Magforce 90. In addition to drilling with standard3/4 inch Weldon-shank annular cutters, the machine can be equipped for conventional twist drilling (up to 9/16), countersinking, and thread tapping. With a maximum tapping capacity of 3/8 inch or M10, the Magforce 90 can drill and tap holes in position without requiring a separate tapping machine.

Serious Magnetic Holding Power & Safety

A compact drill still needs a solid foundation. The Magforce 90 develops approximately 2,248 lbs of magnetic holding force to securely anchor the machine to suitable steel surfaces during drilling. FEIN also incorporates a tilt-sensor safety shutoff. If the machine detects movement or begins to break free from the workpiece, the system shuts down the drill motor. A magnetic holding-force display provides additional feedback to the operator before drilling begins.
