1780XC, Wilton Tradesman Extreme Condition Vise, 8 inch

The XC models include an electroless nickel coating to prolong the life in corrosive environments, such as when mounted on a service truck.

The Tradesman Vise features a fully enclosed design that keeps dust and debris clear from the rear-anchored spindle nut assembly and other internal components. For versatility, the 28843 vise is equipped with a massive 8-inch wide serrated main jaws and grooved pipe jaws that can hold up to 4-1/4 inch O.D. round stock, and is great for holding irregularly shaped objects. All Tradesman vises are mounted on a swivel base that rotates up to 360 degrees and has dual locking levers to prevent rotation when in use. Meets federal spec #GGG-V-410a, Type IV.
