DESCRIPTION

The Baileigh MH-19 Multi-Hammer is three metal shaping machines in one! It is designed to perform the functions of a rigid Pullmax machine, a slapping Yoder power hammer, and also has an optional English wheel accessory.

The MH-19 power hammer features a 220v single-phase motor with an inverter drive that can be adjusted from 0-1500 beats per minute. Speed can be constantly adjusted with the variable foot pedal or locked to a specific speed using the control panel. The machine also features quick-release adjustment handles and a quick change tooling system.

When operating in rigid mode, there is a fixed gap between the dies. Stroke can be adjusted on the fly from .0175 to .550 inches. Tooling designs and options are endless, but some popular applications are thumbnail shrinking, stretching, flanging, beading, offsetting, and louvers. The spring mode allows the dies to slap together giving a hammering effect. This mode would be used for doming and planishing. The MH-19 uses 1-3/8 inch round shank tooling.
