DESCRIPTION

The Elite Ironworker line from Edwards Manufacturing features the same USA made quality and long-lasting performance as their standard Jaws counterparts, only with a few more features aimed to increase part-to-part accuracy and ease of use. Elite Series Ironworkers include a Hydraulic Hold-Down that places a firm hold on your part before shearing, an Electric Stroke Control allowing for precise control of the up and down stroke of the hydraulics, and a Central Lubrication System for industrial applications with all-day-everyday use.

Other features like the quick change punch and swing away stripper assemblies work together to simplify the process of changing punches and dies, while the Roller Encoder Measuring System grants precise measurements to increase accuracy for production applications. Elite machines also feature a Hydraulic Accessory Pack for use of external accessories, Premium Gauging Tables, and LED lighting, all of which are optional on smaller machines.

The Edwards Elite 110 ton Ironworker is a workhorse with plenty of power for nearly any job. Other standard features include four available work stations, a universal open tooling cavity that can hold a variety of optional tool sets, a 14-inch bar shear, angle shear, and heavy-duty punch station. Like all Edwards machines, this unit works in a completely vertical motion - straight down on the work. There is no arc of tool against the material to be cut or punched. All stations operate as a unit so you can move from punch to shear to angle shear without changing or adding any new equipment.
