DESCRIPTION

The JET J-7020 and J-7040, 10 x 16 Metalworking Band Saws are powered by a 1-1/2 hp motor (220 volt, 1 phase - J-7020), or 2 hp motor (220 volt, 3 phase - J-7040 and 440 volt, 3 phase - J-7040-4). Each saw features a variable speed drive system that is controlled on a swiveling user control panel. This saw is built with a heavy-duty, rigid steel and cast iron construction of the head and base that provides full blade support and eliminates vibration and deflection. The precision blade guides and hydraulic feed system delivers consistent, accurate cuts and longer blade life. Material clamping is quick and easy with the quick action vise. Circulating coolant system keeps the blade and material cool during the cutting process.
