This Kalamazoo 4 x 48 inch belt grinder is a workhorse machine with loads of power. The 3 hp direct drive motor and horizontal/vertical operation make this machine both powerful and versatile. Belt change as well as head position is quick and easy to change. The 8 inch serrated contact wheel and removable platen give this machine 3 different types of available grinding; slack belt, platen, and contact wheel. The 7200 SFPM belt speed allows for fast material removal with minimal heat transfer to the workpiece.
