DESCRIPTION

These 6 inch Round Shot Bags are made from a quality 4/5 leather for durability and extended life. Suede outer finishes coupled with a tanned inner surface results in blemish free metal work. Each bag features double stitching in the seams and has a leather binding around the edge. Velcro secures the reinforced flap to retain the filler.

Requires approx. 9 lbs of shot. We recommend filling shot bags with #9 lead shot (sometimes called bird shot). Lead shot is available at most gun or sport stores. Remember, for best results, don't overfill the shot bag. Leave room for the shot to displace during metal shaping. Shot not included.

We do not sell lead shot. Some customers prefer sand and others lead shot but either are expensive to ship and easy to find locally. Pro Tip: You can also find recycled shot online through Amazon or eBay.

Yes, sand or shot can be used interchangeably according to personal preference. We recommend #9 lead shot for best results but sand has different characteristics and is much more affordable.
