It will work with any 1/4 inch shank wood router (corded or cordless) and works on steel, aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel, plastic, or wood.

I need to deburr 0.125 thick aluminum that has been water jet/laser cut. I don't need much of a chamfer, just enough to get rid of the sharp edges. I don't want the material to "fall off" the bearing before I start to get a cut from the cutting insert. How thin a piece of sheet metal will work with this tool? See more »

You are safe to deburr .125" material no problem however we might recommend our air deburring tool as it is designed to be more agile and one-handed operation for intricate parts.

No this is a fixed 45-degree bit. To do 55 degrees it would require an adjustable machine like the B3 Benchtop Beveler.

Depending on which air chamfering tool you are referencing, there may be differences in capacity and bevel widths. This bit does provide quality results.

Yes you can bevel up to a 1/4" bevel in 1/2" plate with this tool. Depending on the power of your router you would most likely want to take more than one pass.
