DESCRIPTION

Give your project a unique look while adding strength with the Flat Recess Dimple Die Set from HammerFab. This set includes dies for 7/16 and 1/2 inch hole sizes that are great for finishing out dash knobs, toggle switches, and hood pins. The Flat Recess Dimple Dies are CNC machined from 4140 alloy steel and heat-treated for years of use. Capacity is rated at 18 gauge mild steel, 20 gauge stainless, and 16 gauge aluminum. Both dies can be used in a press, a vise, or used with one of the supplied draw bolts.

The bottom of the recessed circles made by the dimple dies are as follows:
7/16 inch die = Approximately 1.4 inches
1/2 inch die = Approximately 1.7 inches

The overall outside diameter of the dimple dies are as follows:
7/16 inch die = 1.850 inch OD
1/2 inch die = 2.310 inch OD

Note: The draw bolts are a wear item and are not intended to last the life of the die sets.
