DESCRIPTION

Give your project a unique look while adding strength with the Master Dimple Die Set from HammerFab. This set includes Crater Makers, flat recess, flush recess, RivNut and the Apache dies along with a foam drawer liner to keep everything organized and easily accessible.

All HammerFab dies are CNC machined from 4140 alloy steel and heat-treated for years of use. Most of the dies can be used in a press or vise and many can also be used with one of the supplied draw bolts. The HammerFab dimple dies are designed for best results in 18 gauge mild steel and require around 7 to 10 tons of pressure.

The overall outside diameter of the dimple dies are as follows:

Crater Maker
#10 die = .9375 inch OD
1/4 inch die = 1.135 inch OD
5/16 inch die = 1.250 inch OD
3/8 inch die = 1.500 inch OD

Flat Recess
#10 die = .800 inch OD (recess is approximately .525 inches)
1/4 inch die = .950 inch OD (recess is approximately .700 inches)
5/16 inch die = 1.190 inch OD (recess is approximately .875 inches)
3/8 inch die = 1.480 inch OD (recess is approximately 1.090 inches)
7/16 inch die = 1.850 inch OD (recess is approximately 1.400 inches)
1/2 inch die = 2.310 inch OD (recess is approximately 1.700 inches)

Flush Recess
#10 die = .750 inch OD
1/4 inch die = .875 inch OD
5/16 inch die = 1.00 inch OD
