DESCRIPTION

JET Vertical Milling Machines combine precision and reliability to ensure years of service. The JTM-1050VS2 is constructed using the certified Meehanite® casting process with extra ribbing for a rigid foundation. It features a 10 x 50 inch table, class 7 spindle bearings, table and ways that are hardened to 54 HRC and precision ground for greater accuracy, and Turcite-B coating on the X and Y-Axis for reduced vibration and smooth movements.

The JTM-1050VS2 is equipped with a powerful 3hp, 230v/460v motor and variable speed drive adjustable from 60-500 rpm on the low end or 500-4200 rpm on the high end to ensure your spindle is set to the optimal cutting speed. Other standard features include a heavy-duty spindle brake, swing-away safety shield, and an LED work light.

Several configurations are available in the options drop-down menu or by contacting us which include X, Y, and Z powerfeeds to speed up movements and help achieve a more consistent finish, or an air powered draw bar to quickly change tooling and reduce the chance of over tightening.
