DESCRIPTION

This premium PICO Quench Guard 55 coolant is a must for any machining center or lathe and offers excellent lubricity for cutting, drilling and tapping along with a rust/corrosion inhibitor. It also works great in CNC plasma cutting tables. Safe to use with ferrous, stainless, aluminum, Inconel, titanium, galvanized, galvalume, zinc coated, brass, and other alloys. It is a transparent, non-foaming coolant that leaves a protective film and is recommend to be used as a 5-10% ratio with water. Since it does not contain oil or petroleum solvents, nitrites, formaldehyde, wax or silicone it is biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous, and non-flammable. Quench Guard 55 does not need to be removed before pickling or welding and has no adverse effects on weld integrity.
