DESCRIPTION

JET Vertical Milling Machines combine precision and reliability to ensure years of service. The JTM-4VS-1 is constructed using the certified Meehanite® casting process for a rigid foundation and features precision hardened and ground ways and table, one shot lubrication system, a large chromed quill, internally cooled spindle head, an internal coolant tank for use with optional coolant system, and adjustable gibs throughout.

The JTM-4VS-1 is equipped with a powerful 2hp, 230v single phase motor and variable speed pulley that is adjustable from 60 - 4,200 rpm with a convenient hand wheel to quickly set your spindle to the optimal cutting speed. The precision bored and honed milling head ensures quality cuts, and the three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop makes the JET Variable Speed Milling Machines easy to use.

Several other configurations are available in the options drop-down menu which includes X, Y, and Z power feeds to speed up movements and help achieve a more consistent finish, or an air-powered drawbar to quickly change tooling and reduce the chance of over-tightening.
