DESCRIPTION

This power hammer by Mittler Bros. is built to replicate a 60 lb Yoder Power Hammer. This machine can perform shrinking, stretching, and shaping in sheet metal with a variety of optional die sets. The Mittler Power Hammer utilizes a leather strap & leaf spring to support the upper die assembly which provides a cushioned blow similar to a mallet and shot bag only at a rate of 900 blows per minute. The upper die stroke is adjustable to compensate for heavier or more delicate work. This is a fully assembled and factory tested unit that includes one radius die set. Tooling is made from S7 tool steel and hardened to 58-62 Rockwell.
