DESCRIPTION

The PH-28HD-VS Industrial Power Hammer is the latest addition to the Baileigh power hammer lineup. Made in the USA and using customer feedback, this yoder style hammer is designed with the metalshaper in mind. The PH-28HD-VS features a variable speed 220v 3hp motor, 28 inch throat depth, and 14 gauge mild steel or 10 gauge aluminum capacity. The unique floating chain and sprocket setup eliminated the leather strap commonly found on hammers of the past.

Tooling changes are quick, easy, and tool free using pins and a toggle lifting device to separate the dies. A threaded lower tool mount makes tuning adjustments easy for different dies or material thickness without the need for shims.
