DESCRIPTION

The Dake F-16 Vertical Band Saw is a quality saw that is built to last. Infinitely variable speed adjustment, with a 16 inch throat, makes this a very versatile, cost-effective saw. Blade feed pressure supplies up to 60 lbs. of cutting pressure. Standard mitering protractor and rip fence attachment adds to the versatility of the saw.

The oversized table gives a large work surface and includes t-slots on both sides of the blade for easy guiding of the material. The digital tach allows the operator to quickly see the blade speed and adjust for various material thicknesses and types. Hardened V style guides can be adjusted and interchanged to accommodate various widths of blades.

Safety features are numerous. A Jog mode allows short & slow advances of the blade for safe tracking and tensioning adjustments. The cabinet also features electric lockout protection to prevent the band from rotating while the drive wheels are exposed. An E-stop is located on the front of the unit as well.
