DESCRIPTION

The HEM Saw NG160ABS by Femi mitering head band saw is excellent for the light to medium duty industrial user with its highly accurate cuts and large capacity. This ABS version of the saw also features a unique semi-auto gravity downfeed. Just set the blade against the material and walk away!

Its die cast aluminum construction of the entire saw's base and head equates to a very lightweight, yet durable cutting platform. The variable speed motor aids in cutting both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, while the 45 degree swiveling miter head makes miter cuts a breeze. Since the saw is a dry cutting saw, there is never any coolant to clean-up. The 'New Generation' reverse blade rotation results in a 60% faster cutting than other saws with a similar capacity. An adjustable length stop is included for easily repeatable cuts.

Gravity downfeed function not recommended for material thinner than .125 inch wall thickness.

No sorry, the only saws in the Hem Saw line up that go vertical are the 782XL and 784XL. You can find the Vertical tables under the Accessories tab of each product.

Keep in mind NPS pipe does not measure the same Outside Diameter (OD) as tubing so technically you cannot cut 5" Pipe (5.563" OD) to a 30 degree angle and 6" Pipe is over the capacity of the saw. You could cut 5" OD tubing at a 30-degree angle but the most angle you can get on 6" OD would be about 20-degrees.

No if you see the Specifications tab on the product, you can see that it is rated for 6" round at 90 degrees and only 4" at 45 degrees.
