DESCRIPTION

This double headed power hammer by Mittler Bros. is built to replicate a 60 lb Yoder Power Hammer. This machine can perform shrinking, stretching and shaping in sheet metal with the variety of standard die sets. The Mittler Power Hammer utilizes a leather strap & leaf spring to support the upper die assembly which provides a cushioned blow similar to a mallet and shot bag only at a rate of 900 blows per minute. The upper die stroke is adjustable to compensate for heavier or more delicate work. Tooling is made from S7 tool steel and hardened to 58-62 Rockwell.

This is a fully assembled and factory tested unit that includes a full set of tooling.
